Football Game Preview: Otis Bulldogs vs. Eads Eagles

The Otis Bulldogs will venture away from home to take on the Eads Eagles at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Otis is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.

Otis is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Colorado's top teams: Peetz, who was ranked tenth at the time (Otis was ranked 17th). Otis took a 37-22 bruising from Peetz on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Eads played a tough game two weeks ago in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by Stratton and fell 66-30. Eads hasn't had much luck with Stratton recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

The match pitted two dominant backs against one another in Karsten Buller and Drew Fox. Fox had a great game and rushed for 132 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries. Meanwhile, Buller was balling out in the loss, rushing for 91 yards and a pair of TDs on only seven carries.

Otis' defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Eads, their loss dropped their record down to 7-2.

Everything came up roses for Otis against Eads in their previous matchup back in November of 2024, as the team secured a 69-7 victory. In that matchup, the Bulldogs amassed a halftime lead of 54-0, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Saturday.
