Basketball Recap: Manor New Tech's Loss Ends Ten-Game Winning Streak at Home

It was a good run, but Manor New Tech unfortunately witnessed the end of their eight-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 37-25 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lago Vista Vikings. Manor New Tech lost against Lago Vista in their previous head to head back in January of 2020, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 62-16 score last time.

Manor New Tech's defeat ended a ten-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 20-2. As for Lago Vista, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record this season.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Austin Achieve the next time they take the court. Manor New Tech will host Austin Achieve at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Lago Vista will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on January 17th.
