DeMatha saw some tournament action on Saturday. They blew past the Wesleyan Christian Academy Trojans 85-52. The Stags have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matches by 22 points or more this season.

DeMatha's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Charles Thomas, who went 6 for 9 on his way to 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kade Sebastian, who posted 11 points in addition to six boards and three steals.

DeMatha's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Wesleyan Christian Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-6.

DeMatha won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Our Lady of Mount Carmel at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday. Our Lady of Mount Carmel has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. As for Wesleyan Christian Academy, they will be taking part in a tournament against Olympic at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
