Knightdale skates past Enloe with ease

Recap: Knightdale Knights vs. Enloe Eagles

The Knightdale Knights scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They took their matchup at home with ease, bagging a 71-5 win over Enloe. The win was nothing new for Knightdale as they're now sitting on four straight.

Knightdale was led to victory by Ja?Kiyah Moore and Ayomide Adewumi. Moore scored eight points along with eight rebounds and six steals, while Adewumi dropped a double-double on 21 points and 11 rebounds. Adewumi continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Andrea Watkins, who scored 11 points along with three steals.

Knightdale has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season. As for Enloe, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Knightdale will challenge Sanderson at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Sanderson is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home. Enloe will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Southeast Raleigh at 12:00 p.m. on January 6th. Southeast Raleigh presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Enloe in North Carolina (Southeast Raleigh is ranked 107th, while Enloe is ranked 593rd).
