Volleyball Recap: Wheaton Academy Comes Up Short + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Wheaton Academy can now relate to. They fell just short of the Saint Viator Lions by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. If the Warriors were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Lions when the teams met back in October of 2017, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Saint Viator was led to victory by Gabriella Vitullo and Abigail Sheldon. Vitullo had 14 digs and three assists, while Sheldon had eight digs and two aces. That's the most digs Sheldon has posted since back in September.

Wheaton Academy has been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 13 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 18-17 record this season. As for Saint Viator, the victory (which was their 17th in a row) raised their record to 31-7.

Wheaton Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Saint Viator, they will square off against Central at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
