Baseball Game Preview: Selkirk Rangers vs. Curlew Cougars

Selkirk is 2-8 against Curlew since May of 2022 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Rangers will challenge the Cougars at 2:00 p.m. One thing working in Selkirk's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last five matchups.

While Selkirk didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-11), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. Everything went their way against Republic on Friday as they made off with a 19-3 victory. The Rangers haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, Curlew lost 16-6 to Selkirk last Tuesday.

Curlew's loss dropped their record down to 1-4-1. As for Selkirk, their victory bumped their record up to 5-2.

Selkirk got the 'W' when the teams last played last Tuesday against Curlew by a conclusive 16-6 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rangers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
