William Floyd had won seven straight games and Jaquan Thomas did his part to make it eight on Saturday. The Colonials blew past the Walt Whitman Wildcats 35-0 for which the team can thank Thomas, who rushed for 205 yards and four TDs on only 15 carries. Thomas is crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 128 every time he's taken the field this season.

William Floyd's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB six times. The heavy lifting was done by Jake Rivera and Jayden Johnson, who racked up four sacks between them.

William Floyd's victory bumped their record up to 8-0. As for Walt Whitman, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-3.
