Basketball Recap: Lynn Vo-Tech Comes Up Short

Lynn Vo-Tech was the 68-64 winner over St. Mary when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. The Tigers had to suffer through a 73-38 loss at the hands of the Spartans.

Lynn Vo-Tech's defeat ended an eight-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 2-2. As for St. Mary's, the win keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lynn Vo-Tech and Manchester Essex will round out the year against one another at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Tigers will need to watch out since the Hornets have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for St. Mary's, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Bishop Fenwick at 6:30 p.m. on January 7, 2026.
