Basketball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Aletheia Christian Academy

Aletheia Christian Academy entered their tilt with Varsity Opponent on Sunday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They managed a 39-34 win over Varsity Opponent. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 50-17 back in November.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Aletheia Christian Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jaylee Nance, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 boards. The dominant performance gave Nance a new career-high in rebounds. Another player making a difference was Zoe Dailey, who posted 12 points.

Aletheia Christian Academy pushed their record up to 5-3 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Aletheia Christian Academy will venture away from home to square off against Tate at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Aletheia Christian Academy's defense has only allowed 28.1 points per game this season, so Tate's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Varsity Opponent, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 48-3 defeat against KIPP King on the 9th.
