Nate Popcun Game Report: vs Mexico

Marcellus was sadly handed a defeat on Friday, but Nate Popcun did his best to prevent it. Popcun pitched 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long.

Even though Popcun couldn't lead Marcellus over Mexico, he won't have to wait long to try again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:05 p.m. on Friday. Sadly, Popcun's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Mustangs' three-game streak of wins at home.
