Basketball Recap: Hemphill Takes a Loss

Hemphill was the 57-41 winner over West Sabine when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Hemphill Hornets took a 61-57 hit to the loss column at the hands of the West Sabine Tigers.

Hemphill has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 13-15 record this season. As for West Sabine, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 8-13 record this season.

Hemphill will challenge San Augustine at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. San Augustine will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Hemphill surely won't give up without a fight. As for West Sabine, they will face off against Woden at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. West Sabine is facing Woden at the right time seeing as Woden is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
