It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but DeWitt had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Waverly Warriors. The victory was nothing new for the Panthers as they're now sitting on six straight.

Avery Benson paced DeWitt's offense, picking up 11 kills. Benson got some help from Delainey Buchanen and her 31 assists. Buchanen was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Waverly lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Sophia Deubner, who had 14 digs and three aces.

DeWitt's win bumped their record up to 22-12-1. As for Waverly, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 14 of their last 15 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-31-2 record this season.

DeWitt has already played their next match (against Grand Ledge), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Waverly does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
