Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Duncan). They really took it to the Midwest City Bombers for the full four quarters, racking up a 54-16 win. The Demons pushed the score to 47-16 by the end of the third, a deficit the Bombers had no chance of recovering from.
Midwest City's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Dayveon Cochren, who picked up 155 receiving yards and one touchdown, and Lincoln King, who threw for 223 yards and a pair of TDs. Cochren really caught the secondary sleeping when he pulled down a catch that went for 77 yards.
The victory made it two in a row for Duncan and bumps their season record up to 6-4. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 22 points in those games. As for Midwest City, they dropped their record down to 2-8 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.
Coming up, Duncan will face off against Carl Albert at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Titans' defense has only allowed 10.4 points per game this season, so the Demons' offense will have their work cut out for them. Midwest City does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
