Softball Game Preview: Keene Blackbirds vs. Salem Blue Devils

Keene hasn't had much luck against Salem recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Blackbirds will be playing at home against the Blue Devils at 4:30 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

As a matter of fact, Keene put up the most runs they have all season on Monday. They had just enough and edged out Nashua North 23-21. The victory continues a trend for the Blackbirds in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won six in a row.

Meanwhile, Salem faced Goffstown in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. The Blue Devils never let the Grizzlies get on the board and left with a 12-0 win. The Blue Devils might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by seven runs or more this season.

Salem's victory bumped their record up to 12-2. As for Keene, their win bumped their record up to 3-11.
