Volleyball Game Preview: Okay Mustangs vs. Hulbert Riders

Okay is on a five-game streak of home losses, and Hulbert a five-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Tuesday. The Okay Mustangs will challenge the Hulbert Riders at 6:00 p.m. Hulbert took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Okay, who comes in off a win.

Okay took a three-set defeat the last time they faced off against Regent Prep, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Mustangs came out on top in a nail-biter against Regent Prep on Thursday, sneaking past 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Mustangs have posted since August 23rd.

Meanwhile, Hulbert came up short against Summit Christian Academy on Saturday and fell 2-0.

Okay's win bumped their record up to 8-11. As for Hulbert, their loss dropped their record down to 5-5.

Everything went Okay's way against Hulbert when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as Okay made off with a 3-0 victory. Will the Mustangs repeat their success, or do the Riders have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
