Basketball Game Preview: Springfield Southeast Spartans vs. Bulls College Prep Bulls

The Springfield Southeast Spartans and the Bulls College Prep Bulls will face off at 10:30 a.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with eight consecutive losses for Springfield Southeast and six for Bulls College Prep.

Springfield Southeast's tournament run continued when they took on Belvidere North on Thursday. Springfield Southeast fell to Belvidere North 50-45.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 74-27, which was the final score in Bulls College Prep's tilt against DeKalb on Thursday. While losing is never fun, the Bulls can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 575th, while the Barbs are ranked 176th).

Bulls College Prep's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Springfield Southeast, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-8.
