Battle Mountain won the last time they faced Coral Academy of Science - Reno and things went their way on Saturday too. The Battle Mountain Longhorns breezed by the Coral Academy of Science - Reno Falcons to the tune of 60-31. The Longhorns have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matches by 24 points or more this season.

Leading Battle Mountain to victory were Noel Hill and Paitynn Johns. Hill went 7 for 15 en route to 18 points and six steals, while Johns went 9 of 20 on her way to 21 points and six boards. Those 21 points gave Johns a new career-high. Lindsey Bleak was another key player, putting up ten points and five assists.

Battle Mountain smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in four consecutive games.

Battle Mountain has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests, which somehow still isn't as good as their 13-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.1 points per game. As for Coral Academy of Science - Reno, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-9.
