Softball Recap: Toronto Red Knights vs. David Anderson Blue Devils
Toronto gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Saturday. They blew past the David Anderson Blue Devils 14-4. This was payback for the Red Knights, who suffered a 20-7 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Laney Danko was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She struck out seven batters over six innings while giving up four earned runs off only two hits. Danko was even better at the plate, going 4-for-5 with two stolen bases, five RBI, and one run. Those five RBI gave her a new career-high.
