Basketball Recap: Washburn Takes a Loss

Washburn has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 54-50 heartbreaker at the hands of Grant County co-op [Carson/Elgin-New Leipzig/Mott-Regent]. The Cardinals were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Grant County co-op [Carson/Elgin-New Leipzig/Mott-Regent] earlier this season, when they won 63-48.

Washburn's loss dropped their record down to 19-6. As for Grant County co-op [Carson/Elgin-New Leipzig/Mott-Regent], they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-8 record this season.

As of now, neither Washburn nor Grant County co-op [Carson/Elgin-New Leipzig/Mott-Regent] have any future games scheduled.
