Basketball Recap: Macon County Skates Past Stem Preparatory Academy with Ease

Macon County won against RePublic on Tuesday with 69 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Saturday. The Tigers claimed a resounding 69-27 victory over the Stem Preparatory Academy Chargers. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tigers.

Despite the defeat, Stem Preparatory Academy had strong showings from Hazem Khalid, who posted nine points, and Hamza Rawe, who had three points and six blocks.

Macon County's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Stem Preparatory Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Macon County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 54-44 victory against Trousdale County on the 25th. As for Stem Preparatory Academy, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Valor College Prep at 7:30 p.m. on the 2nd.
