After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Drury, McCann Tech was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They never let the Lee Wildcats get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Hornets considering their two-run performance the contest before.

Hayden Barrett was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out nine over seven innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and two runs.
