Football Recap: Trinidad Trojans vs. King's Academy Knights

Trinidad was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 92-42 loss at the hands of the King's Academy Knights. The Trojans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Knights apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2023.

King's Academy was led to victory by Sam Tarrant and Ben Smith. Tarrant rushed for 101 yards and four touchdowns on only five carries, while Smith gained 214 total yards and five touchdowns. Smith's longest rush was for an impressive 65 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total. Speaking of playmakers, who could forget Cayden Adcock, who went all the way with a kickoff return for a touchdown.

Trinidad's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for King's Academy, the win for them keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.
