Munford can now show off ten landslide victories after their most recent game on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Talladega Tigers as the Munford Lions made off with a 19-3 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for Munford.
David Pettus made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (he also only allowed one walk). Pettus has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two hits in four consecutive pitching appearances. Pettus was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 2-for-2.
In other pitching news, Mason Brewer looked comfortable as he tossed an inning while giving up no earned runs or hits (he also didn't allow any walks).
Back at the plate, Lathan Stephens was incredible, going 2-for-2 with a home run, four RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Braydon Nichols, who went 2-for-3 with four RBI and two runs.
