The Classical Academy had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the DSST: Conservatory Green Hornets on Saturday. The win was nothing new for the Titans as they're now sitting on 12 straight.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant The Classical Academy was: they took every set by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-7, 25-14.

The Classical Academy was led to victory by Avery Jaeger and Bella Campbell. Jaeger had three digs and two aces, while Campbell had ten digs. Jaeger has been hot for a while, having also posted 15 or more assists the last 17 times she's played.

They weren't the only good servers: The Classical Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 15 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in 18 consecutive contests.

Despite the loss, DSST: Conservatory Green still got an impressive performance from Mia Martin, who had ten assists and seven digs.

The Classical Academy's victory bumped their record up to 22-2. As for DSST: Conservatory Green, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-13.

Coincidentally, The Classical Academy and DSST: Conservatory Green will both be playing Platte Valley the next time they take the court. The Hornets will head out to face the Broncos at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Titans will play them later in the day, at 1:00 p.m.
