Basketball Recap: Khan Lab Comes Up Short

It was a Battle of the Birds when Khan Lab took on Apostles Lutheran on Friday. The Khan Lab Condors fell to the Apostles Lutheran Falcons 45-39. The Condors were probably out for revenge after losing 52-47 to them when the teams met back in December of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Jeremy Bork was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 20 points and 18 rebounds for Apostles Lutheran. That makes it 13 consecutive games in which Bork has scored at least a third of Apostles Lutheran's points. Aiden Kwak was another key player, putting up eight points and seven boards.

Khan Lab's loss was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Apostles Lutheran, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-8.

Khan Lab does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Apostles Lutheran, they will challenge Averroes on Wednesday.
