Volleyball Game Preview: Richwoods Knights vs. Illinois Valley Central Grey Ghosts + How To Watch

Richwoods is 1-7 against Illinois Valley Central since October of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Knights will look to defend their home court against the Grey Ghosts at 4:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Richwoods' tournament run continued when they took on LaSalle-Peru on Saturday. The Knights fell 2-0 to the Cavaliers.

Meanwhile, Illinois Valley Central came up short against LaSalle-Peru on Saturday and fell 2-0.

Illinois Valley Central's defeat dropped their record down to 18-9. As for Richwoods, their loss dropped their record down to 9-13.

Richwoods came out on top in a nail-biter against Illinois Valley Central in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, sneaking past 2-1. Will the Knights repeat their success, or do the Grey Ghosts have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
