Baseball Recap: Schurr Comes Up Short

Schurr was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 11-1 to the South Pasadena Tigers.

Schurr saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Joshua Talavera, who went 2-for-3 with one double. Daniel Perez-Hernandez also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Schurr's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for South Pasadena, they pushed their record up to 3-2 with the victory, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Schurr has already played their next game, a 3-2 loss against Marshall on the 1st. As for South Pasadena, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 9-2 defeat against Burroughs on the 1st.
