Oxford was forced to take a big loss against Lake Orion on Tuesday, they got the better of them on Thursday. The Wildcats never let the Dragons get on the board and left with a 14-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won nine games by seven runs or more so far this season.

Oxford pushed their record up to 13-1 with the victory, which was their eighth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Lake Orion, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-7 record this season.
