Baseball Game Preview: Woodside Wildcats vs. El Camino Colts

For the second straight game, Woodside will face off against El Camino. The Wildcats will venture away from home to face off against the Colts at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Woodside will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last.

Woodside took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. Everything went their way against El Camino as they made off with a 20-6 victory. With that win, the Wildcats brought their scoring average up to 6.4 runs per game.

Charles Dalrymple looked comfortable as he tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits.

On the hitting side, Woodside let Cruz Torres and Colby Fernandez run wild. Felix Kelly also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

El Camino is on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-15. As for Woodside, they moved to 9-11 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak.
