Football Recap: Christian Comes Up Short

Christian had lost three straight at home, but on Friday they dropped down to 2-7 to make it four. They came up short against the Point Loma Pointers, falling 24-0. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Patriots were not able to get on the board.

Kaleb Runkle threw for 86 yards while completing 71.4% of his passes. Kai Rosier was his top target, picking up 31 receiving yards.

As for Point Loma, the win keeps them at an undefeated 9-0. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 32.3 points this season.

Christian wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 13-7 win against San Diego on the 30th. As for Point Loma, they will welcome St. Augustine at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
