Volleyball Game Preview: Manteno Panthers vs. Bishop McNamara Fightin' Irish

The Manteno Panthers will take on the Bishop McNamara Fightin' Irish at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Manteno will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.

Manteno picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They came out on top against Genoa-Kingston by a score of 2-0.

Meanwhile, Bishop McNamara posted their closest win since September 25th on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over St. Edward.

Bishop McNamara's win came from a few key players Manteno will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Carley Johnson, who had ten digs and two aces. Camille Czako was another key player, getting eight digs and six assists.

Bishop McNamara was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. They served one more ace than St. Edward's also-impressive total of 11.

Manteno's win bumped their record up to 27-4. As for Bishop McNamara, their victory bumped their record up to 10-12.

Manteno was able to grind out a solid win over Bishop McNamara when the teams last played back in August, winning 2-0. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Fightin' Irish have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
