Basketball Recap: Northbrook Raiders vs. Wharton Tigers
A win for Northbrook just wasn't in the cards on Thursday as the team wasn't able to take the lead at any point. They were beaten by the Wharton Tigers 72-32.
Wharton was led to victory by Jameir Hearne-Robinson and Jacoryan Dickerson. Hearne-Robinson almost dropped a double-double on 14 points and nine rebounds, while Dickerson dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds. Dickerson has been hot , having posted nine or more rebounds the last five times he's played. Another player making a difference was Ja'Keon Jackson, who earned ten points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Northbrook's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Wharton, the victory for them keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Palacios the next time they take the court. Wharton will head out to face Palacios at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, while Northbrook will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.
