Basketball Recap: Bobby Harris Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Gloria Deo Academy

Galena won the last time they faced Gloria Deo Academy and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Bears took down Gloria Deo Academy 60-42. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bears.

Galena got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Bobby Harris out in front who shot 47% from the field on his way to 18 points and five boards. Jack Stephens was another key player, dropping a double-double with 11 points and 16 rebounds.

Galena's victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Galena will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Chadwick at 7:00 p.m. on December 5. As for Gloria Deo Academy, they will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Norwood at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
