Football Game Preview: Palmetto Panthers vs. Goleman Gators + Official Tickets

Palmetto is on a five-game streak of home wins, while Goleman is on a three-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Panthers will welcome the Gators at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Palmetto's defense has only allowed 11.5 points per game this season, so Goleman's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Palmetto is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They took down Columbus 27-10.

Butler Aiden had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 178 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 8.1 yards per carry. His longest rush was for an incredible 76 yards.

On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Palmetto's defense and their four sacks. That dominant display was truly a team effort as four different players picked up one apiece. They got some further help from Jaiden Henry: he picked up a sack, forced one fumble, and made five total tackles (2.0 for loss).

Meanwhile, Goleman strolled past Spanish River with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 56-42.

Palmetto's record is now 10-2. As for Goleman, their record now sits at 8-4.
