Volleyball Recap: Harrison Continues Home Dominance on Tuesday

Harrison faced McCutcheon in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Raiders had just enough and edged out the Mavericks 3-2. The Raiders haven't had any issues with the Mavericks recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Harrison was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 22-25, 23-25, 25-19, 15-9.

Cole Hess paced Harrison's offense, picking up 15 kills. Hess got some help from Ian McKinney and his 33 assists. Hess was also solid from the service line: he led the team with three aces.

Harrison's win was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-5. As for McCutcheon, they moved to 7-3 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.
