Softball Recap: Warren/Stockton Comes Up Short

Warren/Stockton lost against River Ridge/Scales Mound last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Warhawks took a 12-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wildcats. The Warhawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Warren/Stockton's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for River Ridge/Scales Mound, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-6.

Looking ahead, Warren/Stockton will be taking part in a tournament against West Carroll on Saturday. As for River Ridge/Scales Mound, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Orangeville at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Broncos will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Wildcats surely won't give up without a fight.
