Volleyball Recap: Concordia Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Concordia came tearing into Saturday's match with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Aquinas Monarchs. The Mustangs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Monarchs, too.

Concordia got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Alyse Moulton out in front who had three digs and two aces. That's the most aces Moulton has posted since back in September. Bella Johannes also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

They weren't the only good servers: Concordia was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Concordia's record now sits at 24-5. As for Aquinas, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-22.

Concordia didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Grand Island Central Catholic on the 11th. As for Aquinas, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against St. Cecilia on the 11th.
