Soccer Game Preview: Alliance Bloomfield vs. Collins Family

Alliance Bloomfield is 1-6 against Collins Family since January of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Alliance Bloomfield Bulls will head out on the road to face off against the Collins Family Jaguars at 3:30 p.m.

Last Monday, Alliance Bloomfield didn't have quite enough to beat Academia Avance and fell 3-2. Alexander Rodriguez was hit with a yellow card, which may have had some impact on his (and the team's) ability to make aggressive plays.

Diego Fierro and Rodriguez scored both of Alliance Bloomfield's goals, bringing their combined season tally to three goals.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Collins Family). Their defense stepped up to hand East College Prep an 11-0 shutout on Monday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Collins Family has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 3-2-1 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 21 goals over those four contests. As for Alliance Bloomfield, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.
