Football Recap: Lancaster Baptist Eagles vs. Lone Pine Golden Eagles
Lancaster Baptist fought the good fight in their overtime contest against Lone Pine on Saturday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took a 44-36 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lone Pine Golden Eagles. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 48-46 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2021.

The defeat snapped Lancaster Baptist's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-1 record. As for Lone Pine, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-2.
Lancaster Baptist wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 65-41 loss against Faith Baptist on the 4th. As for Lone Pine, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Frazier Mountain on the 5th.
