Brockport had won four straight on the road, but on Friday they bumped their record up to 9-5 to make it five. They never let the Honeoye Falls-Lima Cougars get on the board and left with a 2-0 victory. For the Blue Devils, this counts as revenge for the 10-5 win the Cougars walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

As for Honeoye Falls-Lima, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-14. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games.

For Honeoye Falls-Lima's part, Jacob Weber spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on four hits and racked up eight Ks. Weber has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.
