Softball Recap: Southeastern Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Southeastern can now relate to. They took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Meigs Marauders on Friday.

Southeastern's defeat dropped their record down to 20-9. As for Meigs, they are on a roll lately: they've won 16 of their last 17 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-2 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Meigs beat Southeastern by a score of 7-2 on Saturday.
