Volleyball Recap: Charles Henderson Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Charles Henderson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Straughn Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in August.

While Charles Henderson ultimately came up short, they really made Straughn work, particularly in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-8.

Kylee Brown was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had six assists and five aces.

Charles Henderson's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Straughn, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 18 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-11 record this season.

After both having extra time off, Charles Henderson and Brewbaker Tech will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 3:30 p.m. on the 16th. Straughn does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
