Blue Ridge entered their tilt with Paxton-Buckley-Loda on Tuesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 9-6 victory over the Panthers. That's two games straight that the Knights have won by exactly three runs.

Ellie Schlieper spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and three unearned) runs on five hits and racked up nine Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Addison Roos was incredible, going 2-for-4 with four runs, two stolen bases, and one double. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April of 2024. Lillian Enger was another key player, getting on base in three of her five plate appearances with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run.

Blue Ridge's record now sits at 6-7. As for Paxton-Buckley-Loda, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-14.

Looking ahead, Blue Ridge will challenge Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Blue Ridge's pitchers better be ready for this one: Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond has averaged an impressive 7.3 runs per game this season. As for Paxton-Buckley-Loda, they will square off against Monticello at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Sages' pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so the Panthers' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
