Soccer Recap: Evanston Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Evanston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Deerfield Warriors. Evanston were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Deerfield apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Evanston's loss dropped their record down to 2-7-2. As for Deerfield, their win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-1-1 and their overall record up to 4-6-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Evanston will venture away from home to face off against Glenbrook North at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Deerfield, they will take on Ridgewood at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
