Port Angeles is 9-1 against North Mason since April of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Roughriders will square off against the Bulldogs at 4:15 p.m. Port Angeles is coming into the game hot, having won their last six games.

Port Angeles proved they can win big on Monday (they won by 17) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-4 victory over Kingston.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Bulldogs on Saturday. North Mason came up short against Ellensburg, falling 13-3.

Jenna Markuson was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. That home run was her first of the season. Sydnnie Imlay was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Port Angeles' win was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-1-1. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.2 runs on average over those games. As for North Mason, their loss dropped their record down to 6-4-1.

Port Angeles took their win against North Mason when the teams last played back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 20-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Roughriders since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
