Soccer Recap: Lakeland Takes a Loss

Lakeland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They came up short against the Tunkhannock Tigers, falling 8-1. While losing is never fun, Lakeland can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 508th, while Tunkhannock are ranked 84th).

Lakeland's loss dropped their record down to 2-17. As for Tunkhannock, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-3 record this season.

As of now, neither Lakeland nor Tunkhannock have any future games scheduled.
