Hopefully Morningside Academy is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Pineapple Cove Classical Academy in Florida (Morningside Academy is ranked 274th, while Pineapple Cove Classical Academy is ranked 638th).
After only 25 points in their last contest, Morningside Academy made sure to put some points up on the board against Jupiter Christian on Friday. The stars were shining brightly for Morningside Academy in a 58-39 victory over Jupiter Christian.

That makes it four consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Morningside Academy's points. Another player making a difference was Emmilina Miller, who scored seven points along with nine assists and four steals.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Pineapple Cove Classical Academy, who are still winless after their eighth matchup. They took a 30-18 hit to the loss column at the hands of Cocoa Beach on Friday.

They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 23.8 points. As for Pineapple Cove Classical Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-8.
Everything came up roses for Morningside Academy against Pineapple Cove Classical Academy in their previous meeting back in December of 2022 as the squad secured a 46-11 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Morningside Academy since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
