Volleyball Game Preview: Reagan Bison vs. St. Brendan Sabres

The Reagan Bison are taking a road trip to challenge the St. Brendan Sabres at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Reagan is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. They had just enough and edged out JC Bermudez Doral 3-2. The Bison haven't had any issues with the Thunder recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Reagan who won the one that mattered. The final score came out to 25-13, 13-25, 25-22, 19-25, 15-13.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for St. Brendan, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. They blew past Somerset Academy 3-0 on Wednesday.

While St. Brendan won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-23, 25-18.

Reagan's record is now 7-16. As for St. Brendan, their record now sits at 8-10.

Reagan came up short against St. Brendan in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, falling 3-1. Can the Bison avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
