Basketball Recap: Woodland Christian Falls Short of Sonoma Valley in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Woodland Christian can now relate to. They took a 73-61 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sonoma Valley Dragons on Tuesday. The Cardinals' defeat signaled the end of their 18-game winning streak.

Despite the loss, Woodland Christian still got an impressive performance from Romello Bruhn, who dropped a double-double with 34 points and 11 boards. The contest was Bruhn's 60th in a row with at least 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Tanner Thomas, who shot 54% from the field on his way to 17 points.

Woodland Christian's loss dropped their record down to 27-6. As for Sonoma Valley, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 18-15.
