Basketball Game Preview: Apex Cougars vs. Jordan Falcons

For the first time this season, Apex will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will head out to take on the Jordan Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Apex will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

While Apex didn't have the best season last year (they finished 3-22), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They enjoyed a cozy 52-36 win over Cary on Friday.

Meanwhile, Jordan played a tough game on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against Southern School of Energy and Sustainability, falling 59-22. The Falcons were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-10.

Jordan now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Apex, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.

Apex was dealt a bruising 73-27 loss at the hands of Jordan in their previous matchup back in November of 2018. Can the Cougars avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
